Here's Who Got The Most Snow In Southeastern Pennsylvania

Greater Philadelphia woke up in a winter wonderland Tuesday, Jan. 16 as a wintry system worked its way up the eastern seaboard Monday night, Jan. 15, and into the early morning hours.

Though the snowfall has mostly tapered off, winter weather advisories remain in effect as of 3 p.m. Tuesday for Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton, and Philadelphia counties, said the National Weather Service. 

Here's how snowfall totals stacked up across the region in the last 24 hours, according to NWS meteorologists. 

  • Berks County had its highest snowfall recorded in Union Township (3.2) and its lowest recorded in District Township (1.8). 

  • Bucks County had its highest snowfall recorded in East Rockhill Township (2.6) and its lowest recorded in Feasterville-Trevose (1).

  • Chester County had its highest snowfall recorded in Oxford (3.8) and its lowest recorded in Easttown (0.4).

  • Delaware County had its highest snowfall recorded in Bethel Township (4) and its lowest recorded in Collingdale (1).

  • Lehigh County had its highest snowfall recorded in southwest Allentown and Germansville (each 2.9) and its lowest recorded in Macungie (2).

  • Montgomery County had its highest snowfall recorded in Norristown (3.9) and its lowest recorded in Lansdale (1.8).

  • Northampton County had its highest snowfall recorded in Bath and Bushkill (both 2.8) and its lowest recorded in North Catasauqua (1.4). 
  • Philadelphia had its highest snowfall recorded in Point Breeze (3.2) and the lowest recorded in North Catasauqua (1.4).

Temperatures are expected to moderate along the coast but will dip into freezing or below freezing into Tuesday night, meteorologists said.
